St. Ambrose Brings Joy to Grand Bahama!

This past weekend was a joyous one for both St. Ambrose’s Parish and the Church of the Good Shepherd in Pinder’s Point, Grand Bahama! Our very own choir and band, along with other church members, embarked on a special trip to help our friends in Grand Bahama celebrate the 56th Anniversary of the Feast of Dedication of their beautiful church.

It was a wonderful reunion, as the current rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Father Lynden Douglas, previously served as rector here at St. Ambrose. The spirit-filled day was a testament to the strong bond between our two parishes and the larger Diocese.

Filled with uplifting music and fellowship, the celebration was a resounding success; and the good news doesn’t stop there! Father Douglas announced to his congregation they will be having summer band camp the following summer.

We give thanks for the opportunity to share our gifts and for the warm welcome we received from Father Douglas and the people of the Church of the Good Shepherd.
